Team HAM is Diana H., Chris A., and Joe M. The concept of Team HAM came to be one morning while driving to a local autocross event. Wondering what would be a slightly humorous way to identify ourselves, Joe thought of using the first letters of the last names. Unfortunately it was still early and his first thought was MAH. Realizing that wasn't very good or funny, along with the fact it put his name first (Joe is not a glory hog), HAM was the next obvious choice and both Diana and Chris found it acceptable.

Team HAM share an appreciation of automobiles and various forms of motorsport. Being young and in/just out of college, choices are limited. Luckily, the autocross scene in North Carolina (and it seems like most of the south east) is fairly active, giving Team HAM an opportunity to test themselves and their cars in a fun, safe and legal setting, all while getting to know others in the area that share similar interests.

Being avid auto enthusiasts, this website will mostly follow the teams participation in car events or other such related activities. Eventually, since each member has their own personal webspace, they may choose to create specific websites for themselves that will let you find out a little more about us than "We like cars."
